You’ll find over 16,500 car park spaces at the NEC, which means less time searching for a spot and more time enjoying the event. Visitors from every faith have always been warmly welcomed at the NEC. We have a chaplain available for consultation and support, and also a popular multi-faith prayer room, available on the Piazza by Hall 3. Inside the room you’ll find prayer mats and holy books, many of which have been generously donated by representatives of local faiths. In addition, there is a men's Wudu room adjacent to the prayer room and a ladies' Wudu facility within hall 2 ladies' public toilets. We’re also happy to put you in touch with local faith leaders and places of worship, just call our chaplain on 0121 767 2911.

Available on a first come first served basis the points will deliver a minimum of 3.5kw/h and are availible in the following locations when the car parks are open [digital signage will direct you to the open public car parks on the day of your visit].
Locations:

Six in South 7
If you would like to guarantee an EV charging point for the day, we’ve also got eight bookable points in our Premium NEC Express 1 Car Park.
Where available these can be booked here.
Charger use fees are outlined in the user guide below and normal parking fees also apply.
Please note: The charge points require a type 2 connector lead.
The NEC Charge Points User Guide can be found here
Cloakrooms and lost property
Bank
When loading up on goodies at events, the last thing you need is excess baggage. So why not drop off your bags, coats and luggage at our cloakrooms, which can be found adjacent to our halls. Items are charged at £2 per coat and £3 per bag (cloakrooms are open 30 minutes prior the event opening and close when the event closes). Please note, due to overwhelming demand we’re unable to offer cloakroom facilities in Resorts World Arena. In the interests of safety and security overnight storage is also not possible. Sorry.
Need help finding your dearly departed belongings? Head straight to our main lost property area in the Security Office in the Piazza between Subway and Hall 1. There’s also a smaller Security Office in the Atrium near Hall 6. Once the show’s over all lost property is moved to the Piazza Security Office, so give them a call on 0121 767 3883 and they’ll do their best to help.

We all know the least smart thing about a smartphone is the battery life. That’s why we offer secure charging units in the Piazza and Atrium. Compatible with most major models, charging costs £2.00 for up to 60 minutes and £4.00 for 60+ minutes. Please note, the charging units accept contactless payment only and include the following charging leads: Lightning cable, Micro USB, USB Type-C.
Need to post an urgent letter or send a parcel? There’s a post office located at Birmingham Airport, which can be accessed from the NEC on foot via the free air-rail link.
Shuttle buses and taxis
Bank
Our free shuttle buses run continuously around the NEC site and car parks during exhibitions, usually starting one hour before and finishing one hour after the exhibition. You’ll find operating times listed on all our bus stops. If you’d rather walk from the car park, simply follow our finger post signage.
If you’re looking for a black cab, you’ll find our trusted partners TOA Taxis outside the Piazza main entrance, Atrium 1 entrance and Atrium 3 entrance when shows are taking place at the NEC. To book simply call 0121 427 8888 or 0800 0142 729.
Toilet facilities
Bank
With as many as 100,000 people attending some events we’ve made sure there are ample toilet facilities around the whole NEC. Better still, we’ve introduced new digital technology that enables us to switch toilets between male and female usage at the touch of a button, allowing us to respond to the specific audience profile of an event. In other words, less queuing.
In addition to our many disabled toilets, we also have Changing Places toilets available in the Hall 20 Atrium area and by Hall 2 in the Piazza area. These provide space for two carers and extra features including height-adjustable, adult-sized changing benches and a hoist system. For more details, please visit Changing Places.
Please note that we are currently undergoing a toilet refurb roll-out programme, so some of our facilities will be updated in due course as part of a long term project.
If you need any further assistance during your visit, please go to one of Visitor & Business Centres, who will be happy to help.
Baby change/feeding facilities and Parking
Bank
Planning on bringing your little angels to the NEC? You’ll find a wide choice of baby changing facilities throughout the venue, many that include nappy machines, bottle warming machines and screened-off breast-feeding areas. To view our baby change and feeding leaflet, please visit the download section.
Struggling to park in one space? – we don’t have any dedicated parent/child parking bays but we appreciate that you may need a bit of extra room to get your baby and pram/pushchair out of the car. So, please park over two spaces if you need that bit of extra wriggle room.
If you need any further assistance during your visit, please go to one of Visitor & Business Centres, who will be happy to help.
