M42 Overnight Closures
There will be overnight disruption on the M42 on the following dates. Please allow extra time if you are visiting the NEC Campus during this time.
The M42 Northbound/Southbound, between J5 and J6, will be closed overnight on:
• Saturday 29th April (22:00 – 05:00)
• Sunday 30th April (22:00 – 05:00)
• Tuesday 2nd May (22:00 – 05:00)
• Wednesday 3rd May (22:00 – 05:00)
• Thursday 4th May - Northbound (22:00 – 05:00) and Southbound (00:01 – 05:00)
M42 junction 6 improvement scheme
Work is continuing on the new A4545 link road between Clock Interchange, as part of the upgrade scheme on the M42 at junction 6.
The M42 will be closed in both directions between junction 5 and junction 6 from 22:00 on Friday 5 May to 05:00 on Monday 8 May 2023.
