National Highways are closing sections of the M6 and M42 northbound in May as part of its work to deliver safety enhancements on the M6 dynamic hard shoulder motorway around Birmingham.
The following sections of the M6 and M42 will be closed from 9pm on Saturday 13th May until 6am on Monday 15th May:
- M6 junction 4 to 6 northbound, full closure
- M42 junction 4a to M6 northbound link road, full closure
During these closures, clearly signed diversion routes will be in place, but please plan ahead and allow extra time when travelling.
